Meet the founders

Sarah Archer

Founder & CEO

Specializing in comprehensive digital campaigns with thoughtful, compelling storytelling, Sarah has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality, travel, F&B and lifestyle sectors, working in multiple markets across the US with a diverse list of clients. Sarah has spent the majority of her career in Los Angeles, where she handled public relations, digital marketing and social media for award-winning restaurant groups and hotels such as Death & Co, Serafina, Dunkin’, Kimpton, Hyatt and Accor. She has also spent time working in-house for one of the largest independent restaurant groups in the Southeast. Not only limiting herself to the world of hospitality, Sarah has also worked with a variety of retail and lifestyle brands, including Mountain Valley Water, Le Creuset, New Balance and ALO Yoga. 

Sarah currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles. In her spare time, she can be found exploring the world with her dogs Dodger & Scully, studying for her WSET certification, practicing pilates, and cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

Hannah Best

Founder & President

Hannah Best is a seasoned communications professional with an extensive background in food/beverage, luxury and travel marketing. A former PR professional, she brings her love of brand storytelling to the little Instagram squares. Hannah has worked for a variety of beloved luxury brands including Waldorf Astoria properties, Parmigiano Reggiano, Robert Mondavi Winery and multiple Michelin-Star restaurants across the country. It’s not always luxury; Hannah has also worked for brands including Dunkin’ Donuts, Bruxie Fried Chicken and was a former content writer for Betches.

She loves a properly executed influencer campaign (with a true ROI!), Tiktok trends, and creative, witty copywriting. When she’s not trying to come up with engaging content for the Firecracker social media page—shameless plug to follow us!—she is hanging out with her two dogs, Bear & Benji, (and her husband too, I guess?), reading and drinking wine around NorCal.

The Firecracker team is comprised of dreamers, doers, creatives and strategists. Our 15 social media and digital experts expand across the US and have a diverse variety of skillsets and client backgrounds. From leading the marketing of an award-winning restaurant group to waking up at 4am for a wine influencer event to growing the most followed bar on Instagram, we’ve done it all. We promise.

We don’t call each other a “work-family” (because that’s weird), but we are a team, and a damn good one. We work diligently, authentically and honestly for our clients, and while we love what we do, we know that work is not the only thing that defines us. We’re a team that pushes each other to be our best selves, in and outside of the workplace.
