Together, they created a company that offered the structure and strategic skill of larger, established agencies, but with the flexibility, creativity, passion and retention more aligned with a boutique firm. We’re a group of hard-working professionals and experts in our field who are passionate about what we do and the clients we work with.

Meet the leadership team

Sarah Archer

Founder & CEO

Sarah Archer is a lifelong marketer, with 20 years of experience in the hospitality, travel, F&B and lifestyle sectors. She has managed the marketing, communications and social media for over 150 restaurants and hotels, as well as a variety of CPG, alcohol and lifestyle brands. Sarah specializes in high-level operational and marketing strategy, ideating everything from dynamic client activations and thoughtful influencer partnerships to compelling website design and strategic UX/UI. 

She also has experience on the other side of the table, working as the Marketing Director for one of the largest independent restaurant groups in the Southeast, where she got plenty of experience hiring (and, unfortunately, sometimes firing) agencies just like Firecracker. Due to her in-house background, Sarah co-founded Firecracker with the intention of offering brands an honest, effective agency model that integrates seamlessly with their current operations.

 Sarah is obsessively detail-oriented, loves a challenge, and works (and speaks!) at the speed of a podcast on 1.5x. In her spare time, she can be found exploring the world, going on endless walks with her dog Scully, pursuing whichever hobby she’s currently obsessing over (she’s a Gemini; she truly can’t help herself), or cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers. She currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with frequent visits to her other “home bases” of Los Angeles and New Orleans.

Hannah Best

Founder & President

Hannah Best is an experienced communications professional who has worked across luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, wine/spirits and CPG brands for 10+ years in a variety of capacities. She’s a lifelong agency gal who has been classically trained in the art of strategy development, pivoting said strategy as needed and making it work (or die trying! Just kidding… not really.) She got her start in alcohol marketing, quite literally beginning as a tasting room attendant in a family-owned winery to running international campaigns for large wine and spirits brands and has continued to expand on her love for beverage marketing at Firecracker. She also has an extensive background in influencer marketing across a variety of industries, providing both strategy and guidance for clients and creators alike. 

When she’s not working, she can most likely be found at a sports bar or sporting event cheering on her favorite NorCal based teams (yes, the Raiders and A’s still count as Bay Area teams, don’t get her started), playing Masters Water Polo or hopping around town with her husband and two rescue pups, Benji & Boomer. Hannah is currently located in Sacramento, CA.

Tricia Higbee

Director & Partner

Tricia Higbee is a results-driven marketing strategist with over a decade of experience in the hospitality, entertainment and travel industries, specializing in digital marketing, brand storytelling, and social media strategy. Based in Nashville, Tricia got her start leading in-house marketing efforts for some of the city's most iconic bars, restaurants, and live music venues—gaining deep industry insight and a reputation for crafting impactful brand narratives that resonate both on and offline. At Firecracker, Tricia brings her expertise in team management & mentorship, brand partnerships, and integrated campaign development to a diverse portfolio of clients. She is passionate about helping brands with authentic stories connect meaningfully with their audiences through thoughtful, visually compelling digital content and community engagement. Tricia's client roster spans from start-up spirit brands, nationally recognized hospitality groups, and globally acclaimed CPG products.

When she's not leading an all-team brainstorm or dreaming up the next viral moment, Tricia can almost always be found on a patio or a hot girl walk with her dogs, and almost certainly with a cold beer in her hand while doing either. Tricia is also a proud foster for Wags & Walks and enjoys fitting as many puppies as possible into her home at any given time. Adopt, don't shop!

Our 11 social media and digital experts expand across the US and have a diverse variety of skillsets and client backgrounds. From leading the marketing of an award-winning restaurant group to waking up at 4am for a wine influencer event to growing the most followed bar on Instagram, we’ve done it all. We promise.

We don’t call each other a “work-family” (because that’s weird), but we are a team, and a damn good one. We work diligently, authentically and honestly for our clients, and while we love what we do, we know that work is not the only thing that defines us. We’re a team that pushes each other to be our best selves, in and outside of the workplace.
